I'm thinking about rebuilding the context thingy anyways, the current impl blocks some other changes I want to make, so perhaps we can drop the dependency even before that feature is stabilized |

The only thing remaining to completely get rid of it is for
get_or_try_initfeature to be stabilized. So for now, it remains used incratesfyiand in the tests.
